Hello everyone and welcome to ICT-PICO workshop:

Nuevas Tecnologías Educativas aplicadas a la Enseñanza del Idioma Inglés y al Desarrollo Profesional del Docente.

Come on board our magic carpet which will take us all to a whole new world. This is just a first contact to say hello, to thank you for accepting the ride and to give some few pre-session instructions and advice that will make our flight more profitable and rewarding.

On our first stop we’ll be working with images and designing a webquest. So let’s agree on some PRE-SESSION HOMEWORK:

1) Bring a picture in a digital format (pendrive or e-mailed to your own account) Bring a “profile shot” preferable.

2) Just a short message to give you some tips on WEBQUEST, which I’m sure you’re going to enjoy and adopt with your students. However, success is guaranteed if you follow this pre-session homework.

Think about a topic you’d like to deal with a group of students

Finally, bookmark 3 o 4 websites where students could find the necessary information to solve the situation you have thought about.

Here I’m sending an example:

Topic: ANIMALS IN EXTINCTION

Websites:

See you soon, aurelia
